Thank you for visiting my website. As a psychologist in private practice, providing therapy to individuals and couples. I specialize in working with adults with anxiety, depression, and relationship concerns. In therapy, I utilize insight-oriented therapies and cognitive behavioral approaches and I treat each client as an individual with different needs, values, and goals.
After graduating from the University of Maryland in College Park, the top ranked doctoral program in Counseling Psychology, I established a part-time private practice and held academic and administrative positions as an Associate Professor of Counseling Psychology at Towson University (2002-2008), Director of the Counseling Master's Program (2005-2008), and as an Visiting Professor and Instructor in the Psychology Department at Bowdoin College (2008-2015).
In addition to individual and couples therapy, I am available for presentations and media appearances. As a teacher and scholar in psychology, I taught over 50 courses in Counseling and Clinical Psychology, supervised master's and doctoral-level therapists, and presented and published dozens of articles on topics ranging from couples counseling to career decision-making and ethics in psychotherapy.
